EldritchForge

Independent studio · Brazil

We forge nightmares to play together.

EldritchForge makes small, strange games full of secrets: horror you play with friends, rules that fit on a tabletop and maps that never come out the same.

Mansion of the Damned

  • In development
  • PC (Windows)
  • Solo and 2–4 co-op
  • English and Portuguese

Explore the mansion card by card, loot the chests and escape through the Exit before the Tenant catches you.

Every room is a card you place on the map, Saboteur-style, in a 3D diorama with pixel art textures. The investigators are miniatures on the board. The Tenant only shows up when it is close, and you only learn which creature it is when it wakes.

  • The map is built on the tablePath cards with locked doors, barricades and rooms that crack and fall into the abyss.
  • Five TenantsThe Lady in Black, the Weaver, the Mirror Lich, the Slime Devourer and the Specter. Each hunts its own way and has a weak spot.
  • Real co-op2 to 4 players on the same PC or over the network. Hand over items, revive a fallen friend and decide who becomes the bait.
  • Eleven investigatorsFour from the start and seven unlocked through achievements, each with their own ability.
  • Four modesClassic, Against the Clock, Total Madness and Endless (the Descent), played for points.
  • Today's NightmareOne puzzle a day, the same for everyone, with up to three stars.

The studio

A small forge, a stubborn fire.

EldritchForge was born from wanting to make the games we wanted to play on Friday nights: short, tense sessions full of "did you see that?". We make everything in house, in Brazil, and we build in the open, with a devlog, test builds and our decisions on the table.

Whoever follows along now helps decide what comes next: the next investigator, the next creature, the next mansion.

  • Made to play togetherCouch co-op or at a distance, without an expensive server in the middle.
  • Light to runOur games have to run well on a laptop without a graphics card.
  • Open developmentA regular devlog, the balance numbers and what went wrong, too.
  • No traps in your pocketYou buy the game and it is yours. No loot boxes.
